In Turkey, there is a stigma attached to menstruation, which has resulted in sanitary pads being wrapped in newspapers when purchased. In response, we launched a new Orkid product line to challenge this perception and raise awareness that menstruation is a natural bodily function and not something to be ashamed of. To convey this message, we used newspaper articles highlighting issues of violence against women, gender inequality, and discrimination in Turkey to design the product's layout.
